ABV 4.1 % OG 1040

Pale and cloudy, this dry farmhouse style beer  is inspired by beers from Wallonia, the French speaking region of Belgium. The yeast is the key player in this style, on a base including Vienna and wheat malts. Fruity, spicy and crisp, it’s very refreshing!

East Kent Goldings, Olicana® and Jester are the hops in this beer.  Jester is a new variety (English  of course!) from Charles Faram. They say :

“Jester® is a registered trade mark of Charles Faram & Co Ltd and is from the Charles Faram Hop Development Programme. Jester® is a seedling of Cascade (itself a cross between Fuggle and a Russian variety).It was planted 2009 along with its sister Olicana® and was originally selected on aroma. It was commercially released in 2013.”

Unfined and unfiltered. Vegan friendly

NB According to Wikkipedia, The Bay of Biscay  is a gulf of the northeast Atlantic Ocean located south of the Celtic Sea. It lies along the western coast of France from Point Penmarc’h to the Spanish border, and the northern coast of Spain west to Cape Ortegal. Parts of the continental shelf extend far into the bay, resulting in fairly shallow waters in many areas and thus the rough seas for which the region is known. Large storms occur in the bay, especially during the winter months!
